Are designed for use with blood glucose meter Accu-Chek Aviva, Accu-Chek Aviva Nano and Accu-Chek Aviva Combo for quantitative blood glucose testing in capillary blood obtained from a finger, palm, forearm, arm , thigh or calf in order to analyze the effectiveness of glucose control. Health workers can use venous, arterial, and neonatal blood with Accu-Chek Aviva and Accu-Chek Aviva Nano meters. INDICATIONS The Accu-Chek Aviva and Accu-Chek Aviva and Aviva Nano meters are designed for in vitro diagnostic use by health workers in hospital settings and for home use by people with diabetes. The Accu-Chek Aviva Combo Meter is only for domestic use. USE The systems may not be used for diagnosis or the screening of diabetes mellitus, or to samples of neonatal purebas cord blood. Tests with venous, arterial or neonatal blood should only be enhanced by medical personnel. These test strips are calibrated to provide plasma tied to results.
